The Village operates a village wide system consisting of three deep wells, an elevated water tower, and a sewer plant with lift stations. Soon to be added is a new deep well that will enhance our drinking water supply, and will be located at the Northeast corner of the Village Limits.

Gene Ashton has been employed with the Village since 1989 and serves as the Superintendent of the Water and Sewer Department. Gene's responsible for giving the village citizens safe drinking water. He is also responsible for the testing and record keeping of the water as set by the state. Gene also keeps the Sewer plant and other facilities in running order. Gene is a native of Mt. Morris and also serves as a member of the Mt. Morris Township Board. |
